Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Vaaho mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the "Service") operated by Vaaho Technologies Private Limited ("Vaaho", "we", "us", or "our").
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher) to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. If you are between 16 and 18 years old, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.
2. Account Registration
- You must create an account using Google OAuth. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account credentials.
- You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration and to keep your profile information current.
- You are solely responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@vaaho.ai if you suspect unauthorised access.
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe are being used fraudulently.
3. The Service & AI-Powered Agents
- Vaaho provides AI-powered conversational agents across categories including finance, government services, health & wellness, legal guidance, career, and lifestyle.
- AI responses are not professional advice. All information provided by agents is generated by artificial intelligence and is for informational purposes only. It does not constitute and must not be relied upon as:
- Medical, health, or nutritional advice;
- Legal, regulatory, or compliance advice;
- Financial, investment, or tax advice;
- Professional advice of any kind.
- Always consult a qualified professional before making decisions based on information from the Service, particularly regarding your health, finances, legal matters, or any situation where incorrect information could cause harm.
- AI responses may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or inappropriate. We do not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, completeness, or timeliness of any AI-generated content.
- Our agents use third-party AI models (including OpenAI and Anthropic). Your conversation content is transmitted to these providers for processing. Their use of data is governed by their respective privacy policies and our data processing agreements with them.
4. Subscriptions & Payments
- Tiers: The Service offers Free, Basic, Pro, and Premium subscription tiers with varying features, agent access, and usage limits as described in the app.
- Free Tier Limits: Free accounts are limited to a subset of agents and a maximum number of queries per agent per day. These limits may change at our discretion with reasonable notice.
- Billing: Paid subscriptions are billed on a recurring monthly basis through our payment processor (Razorpay or other processors as applicable). By subscribing, you authorise recurring charges to your selected payment method.
- Price Changes: We may change subscription prices with at least 30 days' advance notice. Price changes take effect at the start of your next billing cycle after the notice period.
- Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through the app. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain access to paid features until then.
- Refunds: Payments are generally non-refundable. However:
- If you are charged after a valid cancellation, we will issue a full refund;
- If you experience a material service disruption lasting more than 72 continuous hours during a billing period, you may request a pro-rata refund;
- Refund requests must be made within 15 days of the charge by contacting support@vaaho.ai.
- Taxes: All prices are inclusive of applicable Goods and Services Tax (GST) for Indian users. For users in other jurisdictions, you are responsible for any applicable local taxes.
5. User Content
- "User Content" means any text, images, documents, files, or other material you submit, upload, or transmit through the Service.
- Ownership: You retain all rights to your User Content. By submitting User Content, you grant Vaaho a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, process, store, and transmit your User Content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service.
- AI Outputs: Responses generated by our AI agents ("AI Outputs") may be used by you for any lawful purpose. However, AI Outputs may not be unique to you — other users may receive similar or identical outputs. We make no claim of exclusivity or originality over AI Outputs.
- Responsibility: You are solely responsible for your User Content and the consequences of sharing it through the Service. You must not upload content that infringes third-party rights or violates applicable law.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Violate any applicable law or regulation;
- Infringe the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of any third party;
- Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or other harmful code;
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or its infrastructure;
- Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access the Service without our written consent;
- Harass, abuse, threaten, or impersonate other users;
- Generate, solicit, or disseminate content that is illegal, harmful, fraudulent, deceptive, defamatory, or obscene;
- Use the Service to generate spam, phishing content, or misleading information;
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the Service;
- Circumvent usage limits, access controls, or security measures;
- Use AI-generated content to impersonate a professional (doctor, lawyer, financial adviser) or to present AI outputs as professional advice to third parties;
- Upload content containing personal data of third parties without their consent.
7. Documents & File Uploads
- Premium tier users may upload documents for AI-assisted analysis. Uploaded files are stored securely and text is extracted for processing.
- You warrant that you have the right to upload any document you submit and that it does not contain classified, restricted, or illegally obtained information.
- We process documents solely to provide analysis within the Service. We do not use your documents to train AI models or share them with third parties except as needed for processing (see Privacy Policy).
- You may delete your documents at any time. Deleted documents are removed from our active storage systems within 30 days.
8. Health & Wellness Features
- The Service includes habit tracking and nutrition logging features. These features are for personal tracking purposes only and do not constitute medical advice.
- Nutritional information provided by the meal analysis feature is estimated using AI and may not be accurate. Do not rely on it for medical dietary requirements, allergy management, or clinical nutrition planning.
- If you have a medical condition, eating disorder, or dietary restriction, consult a qualified healthcare professional before using these features.
9. Partner Promotions
- Users on Free and Basic tiers may see promotions from our partners within conversations. These promotions are contextually placed and are not based on profiling of your personal data.
- Clicking a promotion link will take you to a third-party website or service. We are not responsible for the content, practices, or policies of third-party services.
- You may upgrade to Pro or Premium tier to remove all promotions.
10. Intellectual Property
- The Service, including its design, code, AI agent configurations, system prompts, branding, and documentation, is owned by Vaaho Technologies Private Limited and is protected by intellectual property laws.
- "Vaaho" and the Vaaho logo are trademarks of Vaaho Technologies Private Limited. You may not use our trademarks without prior written consent.
- We respect intellectual property rights. If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, contact support@vaaho.ai with a detailed description of the alleged infringement.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
Without limiting the foregoing, we do not warrant that:
- The Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free;
- AI-generated content will be accurate, complete, or reliable;
- The Service will meet your specific requirements;
- Defects will be corrected in a timely manner;
- The results obtained from use of the Service will be accurate or dependable.
12. Limitation of Liability
This applies to damages resulting from:
- Your access to, use of, or inability to use the Service;
- Any conduct or content of any third party on the Service;
- Any AI-generated content obtained from the Service;
- Unauthorised access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content;
- Any decisions you make based on AI-generated content.
Our total aggregate liability for all claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or (b) one hundred Indian Rupees (₹100) / one US Dollar ($1).
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain warranties or liability. In such jurisdictions, our liability shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Vaaho and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:
- Your use of the Service;
- Your violation of these Terms;
- Your violation of any rights of a third party;
- Your User Content;
- Any reliance on AI-generated content from the Service.
14. Account Termination
- By You: You may delete your account at any time through the app's profile settings. Upon deletion, your active subscription will be cancelled and your data will be handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
- By Us: We may suspend or terminate your account immediately, without prior notice, if you:
- Violate these Terms;
- Engage in fraudulent or illegal activity;
- Use the Service in a manner that could harm other users or our infrastructure.
- Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections 5, 11, 12, 13, 15, and 16 survive termination.
15. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
- These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
- Informal Resolution: Before filing any formal dispute, you agree to contact us at support@vaaho.ai and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days.
- Arbitration: If informal resolution fails, any dispute shall be resolved by binding arbitration administered under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 of India. The arbitration shall be conducted in English in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India by a single arbitrator appointed by mutual agreement.
- Class Action Waiver: To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to resolve disputes individually and waive the right to participate in any class action, collective action, or representative proceeding.
- Exception: Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking injunctive or equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction for claims relating to intellectual property infringement or unauthorised access to the Service.
- EU/UK Users: If you are a consumer residing in the European Union or United Kingdom, nothing in these Terms affects your rights under mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence, and you may bring proceedings in your local courts.
16. General Provisions
- Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Vaaho regarding the Service.
- Severability: If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.
- Waiver: Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not be deemed a waiver of such right or provision.
- Assignment: You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations without restriction.
- Force Majeure: We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations where such failure or delay results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, war, terrorism, pandemics, government actions, power failures, internet or telecommunications failures, or third-party service outages.
- Notices: We may send notices to the email address associated with your account. You may send notices to support@vaaho.ai.
17. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms at any time by posting the updated version in the app and updating the "Last Updated" date. For material changes, we will provide at least 30 days' notice before the new terms take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the new Terms, you must stop using the Service and delete your account.
